About Me

Glenda ClemensI was born and raised and spent most of my life in Oklahoma.  I went to high school in Tecumseh, Oklahoma and then went to University of Oklahoma for most of my upper division education.  As a registered nurse (RN) and then family nurse practitioner (FNP, ARNP) I opened a clinic in Norman, OK: Affordable Quality Care.  I am happy to say that clinic is still open serving the underserved populations of central Oklahoma.

In April of 2010, my husband and I moved to the Seattle area to be closer to our two oldest children and granddaughter.  Now our youngest daughter and her family have moved to North Bend, WA where David and I live so we are a really happy family.

We still go back to Oklahoma a couple of times a year to visit friends and family we miss a lot.  However, we love living in the northwest and have bought a lovely home in the woods on the east edge of North Bend, WA.  It is bliss to live with nature in abundance around us and great friends and family to spend time with.

Since moving to North Bend, WA I have been working full time at CarenaMD as a telemedicine health care provider.  It is a terrific job with really great folks doing a lot of good in the World.  I’ve also become a Life Coach and my website Ipseity Road has more information about that!

I have learned to play the ukulele since arriving in North Bend and gather with friends on Tuesday evenings to flail away and sing our hearts out.  The dogs aren’t impressed.  I am addicted to knitting and crocheting and writing.  I also love to cook, play the piano and sing.
